Data Engineer

We are looking to add a talented data engineer to our team. We value technical competence, excellent oral and written communication skills and diligent attention to detail. This role will support the build-out of our research and data infrastructure. You should be proficient in key languages such as Python and Javascript and comfortable writing complex SQL. You will also have the opportunity to explore technologies such as machine learning, time series analysis and quantitative financial analysis. You do not need experience in finance or blockchain to succeed in this role.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 or more years of data engineering experience at a technology company or financial institution

• Advanced degree in technical STEM field preferred

• Experience with git version control, branching and rebasing

• Experience with AWS (Sagemaker, Glue, Lambda, ETL Pipelines) preferred

• Proficiency with Python and Javascript

• Experience with React preferred

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
